Fr. Don Pumputis

Hello everyone my name is Fr.Don Pumputis and God bless, I would like to take the time to say hello to each of you, and introduce myself.I’m an older vocation, being ordained just less than 5yrs. I was stationed at St Michael’s parish with Fr.Murray Sample, and then reassigned to Chatham with Fr.Jim Higgins. While in Chatham I assisted Fr.Jim in bringing together the family of parishes, as we were one of the pioneer families.

Before becoming a priest I was in automotive management and realized that God was calling me to something more all the while, always searching I finally decided to answer the call. Thanks be to God for his patience and mercy, and thanks be to God for you the people of St John the Divine parish for your patience.

Keep me in your prayers, and know you are always in mine, and know my office door is always open.

God Bless

Don St Onge

I was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario to parents of French-Canadian Heritage and I am bilingual in French and English.  My wife Joanne and I have been married for 44 years in November and we have been blessed with two children Eric and Mary, five grand children and two great grandchildren.  We moved to London in 1988 and have been members of St Justin Church, Holy Rosary and for the past three years at St John the Divine Church.  I was involved with many ministries including music, reader, Eucharistic Ministry, bringing communion to residents at Dearness Home and teaching the Rosary through the Living Rosary Program in the Schools.  I was an active member of the Knights of Columbus and presently a member and Spiritual Aid for the St Vincent de Paul Society.  I enjoy music, camping fishing and spending time with our grandchildren in my leisure time.

I was ordained a Permanent Deacon in 2017, and it has given me great joy to be able to serve at St John the Divine Parish.  Hope to be here a while!

Nives Davies

Pastoral Minister

I was born in Padua Italy. Upon entering Canada my parents located us in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec. I am the oldest of four. I am trilingual and have been in London for 50 years. St. John the Divine has been my parish for forty-four years. On May 2, 1996 I was employed as the Coordinator of Youth Ministry for seventeen years. September 1st, 2013 I became the Pastoral Minister of this parish and started my studies for this position at the seminary.  My family is composed of three children and five grandchildren of which I am very proud and blessed with many great friends. My personal faith journey started at age seven when, only God knows why, I was drawn to go to mass by myself. So faithfully I went every Sunday. God has been at the centre of my life since that day. Never did I question it because it felt right, safe and good. Never did I feel any fear in this life long relationship with God that continues to grow. You know I think that The Grey Nuns and the Sisters of St. Anne may have had a part in my faith formation. Today I work and serve this parish with a lot of love and gratefulness. It is the best job I have ever had.
